WHO AM I?
I am a full-stack software engineer with a healthcare background.
Previously, I tackled problems in healthcare as a nurse. As I personally witnessed my peers struggling with software, I wanted to find solutions for more efficient user experiences. My curiosity for programming and creativity pushed me to make the leap into development where I attended the Grace Hopper Program at Fullstack Academy. Now, you can always find me drinking a cup of coffee or milk tea as I'm discovering new technologies.
When I am not coding, I am an avid fitness enthusiast and traveller. I enjoy yoga, kickboxing, and playing volleyball during my free time!

Foodle
Mobile friendly, accessible web application where an organizer can create an event, invite friends, and friends can vote on a randomly generated restaurant suggestion poll to help with indecision.
Piechart renders real-time updates when users vote on the restaurants of their choice on the event dashboard.
Built using React, Redux, Sequelize, PostgreSQL, Express, Bulma, Sass, Socket.io, D3.js, and Google Places API
Pandemic Essentials
An e-commerce site where you can buy all your essentials during a pandemic
Built using React, Redux, Javascript, Node.js, Express, Sequelize, PostgreSQL, Passport, & Bootstrap
Individual contributions include back-end express routes, all products render, test-specs, administration functionalities, checkout, seeding faker data, and deployment
Built in a week remotely while sketching database schemas, evaluating code reviews, and pair programming.
Narwhal-Gotchi
A Virtual Pet Narwhal game inspired by Tamagotchi!
Includes a mini-game using Phaser, Javascript, Node.js, HTML5; deployed to firebase
Created timed features, animations, and drag-and-drop items with collisions. Narwhals can collect coins from squid collisions in the mini-game
